HOW & WHY TO DETOX YOUR CLEANING SUPPLIES

Limiting your exposure to chemicals will assist the body in lowering its daily toxic load, thereby allowing the body to move the toxins already stored within the body’s tissues and organs.

Before the advent of chemicals and commercialized cleaners, people used everyday products such as pine oil, hydrogen peroxide (H202), lemon, baking soda and vinegar as the base of their cleaning products.

Using natural and organic ingredients is especially great if you have pets or children that spend time on the floors and touch many of the surfaces.

Natural cleaning products are also beneficial for people who have lung issues, allergies and or chemical sensitivities. Harsh ingredients in commercial cleaning products can have intense adverse effects on these people.

So whether you hire a cleaning service or do it yourself, you will want to have natural products available. Here’s how to reduce the risk of exposure and eliminate toxic effects

TOP 4 NATURAL CLEANING INGREDIENTS

You can make your own cleaning products that combine the following ingredients:

  • Essential Oils: Lemon, rosemary, lavender, orange, tea tree, eucalyptus, and peppermint, to name a few.
  • Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)
  • Vinegar
  • All-natural, all-purpose cleaner such as Dr. Bronner’s liquid castile soap
